FAQs About CSM
  • Does CSM offer scholarships?

    While our School of Ministry does not offer scholarships directly, you may be able to acquire financial aid through Nelson should you choose that degree path.

  • What fees are there?

    Upon acceptance into CSM, a $500 deposit will be due by July 1st.


    There is also a $1,000 site fee per semester and housing cost to be determined.

  • What about housing and meals?

    If you do not currently live in the Nashville metroplex, CSM will secure your housing and your cost will be included in your total tuition. Also, CSM will not provide a meal plan.

  • What about my schedule? Will I have time to work? Have a social life?

    Each student should expect to spend up to half a day at Cornerstone Church Tuesday – Friday, in ministry related education. This will be a time for fulfilling your formal education requirements and receiving specialized training from our pastoral staff.


    Each student will also be expected to be involved in our Sunday and Wednesday night service as well as special church events.


    The remainder of your time can be spent working a job, doing schoolwork, and enjoying your college experience!

  • Where can I serve at Cornerstone?

    There will be a wide array of opportunities to serve in specific areas of ministry. At a specified time on the school calendar, CSM students will be assigned areas to serve based on their specialized ministry focus. As mentioned, the opportunities are plentiful. C-Kids, CYTH, Christian Life, Creative Team, Worship ministry, Kingdom Builders missions and outreach, First Impressions, etc.

  • But how will this help with my future career and job placement?

    Upon completion of your education, through strategic relationships and partnerships, CSM will work to help you find your God ordained place in ministry or your career field.

  • What is the school calendar and how many years would I be in school?

    The first semester of CSM will run from September – Mid-December. The second semester of CSM will run from January – May.


    Each student will be in CSM 2-4 years depending on your chosen educational path.

  • What are my degree options?

    Nelson

    Potential degrees offered are Business, Ministry, Psychology, and Social Work.

    Five schools comprise Global University; School for Evangelism and Discipleship, Berean School of the Bible, School for Ministry Development, Undergraduate School of Bible and Theology, and Graduate School of Theology.

  • Why Nashville and why Cornerstone?

    Nashville is one of the best cities in the country for it's vibrant city life, traditional roots, and music! Whether it's experiencing amazing coffee shops, music venues, or hiking in the amazing trails and waterfalls within an hour of Nashville, it really is a great city to be at for College.

    Cornerstone is strategically positioned near downtown to be a light to our entire region. We also have 10+ pastoral staff members and ministry directors, with decades of accumulative experience leading in the local church. You will receive focused attention from those pastors and directors, as well as be given the opportunity to develop in the ministries they lead.


    We also have a vibrant Young Adults ministry that will provide opportunities for community, friendships, and social activities with your peers.

  • Can I visit the church?

    Of course, you are welcome to visit our location during our services on Sunday at 8:30AM and 10:30AM, or during our Midweek service on Wednesdays at 6:30PM.
