CYM is now on Twitter!
What is Twitter to CYM?
Twitter is a microblog which allows Pastor Josh to send a mass email and/or text message to you, to keep you informed on what is going on at CYM. Once you sign up to follow the
CYMupdates on Twitter you will receive the update directly to your email, or via text message to your cell phone. The directions below outline how to set up your Twitter account, so that you can become a
CYMupdates follower!

2. Type in your full name; create a username, password, and type in your email address. Then click on create my account.
3. Then you will have the ability to select contacts that you already have associated with your MSN, Hotmail, or yahoo email accounts to join the twitter account as well.
4. You will need to then click on the Following button in the mid-upper right hand corner. Then click on Invite more. Click the tab that says Find on Twitter and type in CYMupdates. You will see the CYM logo and Pastor Josh's name attached to this particular Twitter. (Note: you must type in CYMupdates exactly as it looks here or you will not be following the correct Twitter account.) Click Follow and you are almost done.
5. You will now need to click the Home button at the top right hand side. This takes you back to your home page and you are now following the CYM twitter update via email.
6. If you wish to set up your cell phone to receive the updates via text you will need to follow these few simple steps.
- Click the Settings button at the top right hand side of the page.
- Click the Devices tab in the top middle portion of the page
- Type in your cell phone number -- you must at a +1 (615) -- before your number for it to properly work.
- You will then be given a code to text to the twitter number 40404.
- Once you send that code via text to 40404 you will be now following Pastor Josh and the CYMupdates on twitter via email and text.
- Finally you will have to click the CYMupdates link on your page and make sure that it says your Device Updates are set to on.
